I need your vote

I’m not campaigning for office, and frankly I’m as sick of the whole presidential campaign mess as you are.

I need your vote for something else. Something a lot more fun.

You see, I wrote a book. It got published. It got a really good review in a respected magazine and now it is up for an award.

The magazine is called InD’Tale and it showcases books that are self-published or published by small, independent houses (hence the pun). Each year, they select the books from their review section that have received 4 or 5 stars and these are entered into a contest. The winners in each category are honored with the RONE award at a national convention.

It isn’t an easy award to win. First, the book has to get a good review. I passed that hurdle. Here’s a link to the review: InD’Tale review.

Next, it has to be chosen by the writer’s fans (which I hope you are). Then it is critiqued by qualified judges.

The book is “A Question of Time,” the third in the “Question” trilogy. It was the most difficult of the three to write as I had to really figure out what my characters, Nathan and Caroline, were meant to do with their supernatural powers. Also, I had to do a lot of research, as although I lived through the 1960s, I had forgotten many of the details I needed to make the story believable.

I’m hoping some of you might have read it, but if not, you can read an excerpt at www.sandrazbruney.com/read_time.html or the blurb at www.sandrazbruney.com/books.html

Then, if you think I deserve your vote, please go to http://www.indtale.com/2016-rone-awards-week-six. You may be asked to register to vote, which means you will receive this magazine free in your in-box to sample. I have read it for over two years and enjoy the in-depth interviews with authors and the other articles, including the review section that introduces me to new books I might not know about otherwise. So it’s a win-win situation.

Voting in my category starts tomorrow and runs all week.  I’m listed under Historical: Post Medieval.

So please take just a moment to click on the link and vote for “A Question of Time.”

Thank you.

Thank you very much.
