Jeni Burns (key in virtual applause)

Yesterday, we had really great meeting of the Carolina Romance Writers in Charlotte, met lots of fun new people. We had an editor from Kensington, Martin Biro speak to us about what happens at the Editorial table and it was all ver useful  information. Then after lunch we had a sparkling presentation on Elevator Pitches by Elizabeth Michels. Then we had the opportunity to do pitches to Martin, which was exciting and scary for a first timer like me!

Jeni is one of those people you meet in a totally serendipitous way and discover a kindred spirit. We all need a friend who makes you laugh and laugh at you!

I’ll let Jen appear and Introduce herself in her first blog entry on Mimosa Mornings.
