Rocking the 10 foot commute

It was crazy rushing to make my commuter mug of tea but I am determined to do this new job!

No more making excuses and trying to find time to write! I am committed to the 9-5 writing job, and working like I have a contract! The only down-side, my boss is a bitch!

I was once hired as a lab manager in an Ivy-League Cancer lab based on just one thing in my CV, I had been a Marine. My boss was a gentle man and oddly had amassed a lab of bullies! I was crazy taking the job, I developed many stress-related ailments like blinding, incapacitating migraines. But, I got the job done and was inspired to eventually leave research running, never to look back.

Recently, I wished I had a boss like I was, so I gave myself the job. No excuses, work from 9-5, negotiate comp time and write a minimum of 4 hours a day, 5 days a week! The writing bit is also my CRW goal for the month and I plan on keeping it! That still leaves 4 hours daily for more writing or work supporting writing like entering contest, sending queries, writing outlines and editing!

Have to admit, it feels right!
